The Sun is very important because it keeps our planet warm, and if there were no Sun, our planet would be dark and freezing, and there would be no life.

Plants need sunlight to make their food. Animals and humans eat plants, so we all depend on the Sun.

The Sun also helps control the weather and seasons. As the Earth moves around the Sun, we get summer, winter, spring, and autumn.

The Sun is a huge ball of very hot gas. It is much bigger than Earth and gives energy to all the planets.

Fun facts:

☀ The Sun is about 4.6 billion years old!

☀ It takes about 8 minutes for sunlight to reach Earth.

☀ The Sun is so big that more than one million Earths could fit inside it!

☀ The Sun is not the biggest star in the universe, but it looks big because it is the closest star to us.

☀ The Sun rises in the east and sets in the west every day.

The Sun is not just a star in the sky — it is the bright hero that makes life possible on Earth.
