Sports Day is one of the most awaited events of the year. This year’s theme was Ferrari, the symbol of speed. The name of the event was “The Race Headquarter 2022 ”. We strongly believe that every child is a winner. Our chief guest was Ms. Ayesha Haseeb, cluster convener and headmistress of Primary II North Nazimabad Campus. The event took place on 8th March 2022 in KHA Hockey Ground, Gulshan e Iqbal.
The programme kicked off with a colourful March Past of all the participants of the event. It was followed by a wonderfully synchronised aerobics display. We then had cultural dance performances representing all four provinces of Pakistan by our shining stars who gathered together and concluded the performance on a national song.
Multiple track events took place, designed specifically to challenge students of all levels. They were quite appealing to watch due to the use of colourful and interesting resources. An eye-catching yoga performance by the students of early years was also part of the programme, in which they beautifully conveyed the harmony of body, mind, and spirit.
Our choir added melodies to the event. They recited the 99 names of Allah, sang national songs, and motivational anthems. We also had a stunning performance on “Humari Inteha e Shouq Kya Hai” by a solo singer of class 2, the choir, and our headmistress Ms. Sophia Ahmer.
The overall programme was highly appreciated by the parents and the energy in the spectator stands was evident.
