There is no downside to bringing children and music together through fun activities. From pure pleasure of listening to soothing sounds and rhythmic harmonies, to gaining new language and social skills, music can enliven and enrich the lives of children and everyone around.
BSS Model Town Junior Campus ,kept their tradition alive for hosting Inter-Branch Singing Competition as always . This year, students from 9 BSS campuses participated enthusiastically. They performed for various categories such as Solo Performances ( English & Urdu language) as well as choir presentations .
Ms. Suad Malik along with the chief guest Ms. Shamaila Saleem encouraged and inspired the participants through out the whole event. Esteemed music experts Mr. Anadil Idrees and Mr. Sagar Sunil evaluated each singing presentation on the basis of singing skill , rhythm , expression, pronunciations and delivery of lyrics by the singers.
The event was a sight of exuberance and excitement among teams and music teachers . Students left the judges and guests in an awe with a wide selection of music genres such as sufi, classic, pop and national songs ,that they delivered with finesse and eloquence.
At the end ,all the participant teams received shields and certificates .However, after careful evaluation by the judges, individuals and choirs won trophies for solo and collective presentations. Beaconhouse Model Town Junior Campus proudly took hold of best of the best trophies in all categories .
Miss Suad Malik , Miss Javeria ,Miss Amara and Sir Samuel along with the whole school staff cherished the achievements of little singers who so proudly held their trophies and were over the moon .
