Our national culture are the norms, customs, and values shared by the people of Pakistan across various provinces. In order to inculcate the cultural values and mark the significance of 23rd March – Pakistan Day, cultural day was celebrated at GKG 1 with full zeal and fervor.
Cultural background gives children a sense of who they are. Hence it is important to acquaint them with their national identity at a young age. This cultural day was a perfect opportunity to display the rich heritage and unqiue exhibition of specialties of every province of Pakistan.
The kids came to school dressed in national and various cultural dresses which made the event more vivacious. Moreover, the parents also accompanied the children dressed in cultural wear adding more fun to the day.
The highlight of the event was the cultural walk presented by the children along with their parents. It was extremely entertaining and thoroughly enjoyed by all the participants and audiences. It was followed by some exciting performances on national and cultural songs by the children.
To tickle the taste buds with cultural specialties, food stalls were available serving an assortment of delish items including Lassi, Kashmiri tea, corns and thaadal to name a few.
Needless to say, this wholesome experience of the cultural day made a unique cultural influence on children which will positively affect the way they develop emotionally, socially and physically. The remarkable positive feedback by the parent body validated the success of this wonderful event!
