There’s something magical about watching young minds light up, not just with ideas, but with curiosity, collaboration, and joy. That magic was in full force during the latest Creative Minds Workshop at Beaconhouse Kohsar Campus, where students aged 12+ explored the wonders of robotics and the power of personal storytelling.

Bridging Creativity and Tech: Robotics Challenge

The session started with smiles and teamwork as students paired up for a special robotics-inspired game. There weren’t any machines in sight, just brilliant minds and fast feet!

In teams of two, each student took turns playing “Simon Says,” giving creative challenges that tested thinking, communication, and reflexes. From guiding each other through pretend obstacle courses to solving quick-thinking puzzles, the activity showed that robotics isn’t just about tech, it’s about learning how to think smart, work together, and have fun.

The room was full of laughter, excitement, and friendly competition. And most importantly, every student felt included and encouraged to try.

My Story, My Strengths: CV Writing Made Easy

Once the game wrapped up, it was time for something a little quieter, but just as powerful. Students sat down to create their own personal profiles, learning how to write simple CVs that tell the story of who they are.

With gentle support from our teachers, the kids explored what makes them unique, from hobbies like painting or coding, to dreams of becoming doctors, engineers or storytellers. Some even added fun facts like “I love building things” or “I’m great at helping friends.” It wasn’t about being perfect, it was about learning to own your story.

For many, this was their first time writing a CV. And by the end, each child had a paper that made them smile. A little piece of confidence they could take home.

Why It Mattered

The Creative Minds Workshop wasn’t just an event, it was a glimpse into how education can be deeply personal and profoundly fun. By pairing self-expression with STEM exploration, our students walked away not only with new skills but with a deeper understanding of their unique value.

We’re proud of each and every student who joined in, and grateful to our amazing staff who made the day fun, friendly, and full of heart.
