Our 1st and 2nd Grade children took a trip to the TDF MagnifiScience Centre in Karachi in January for a great educational day, where they enjoyed discovering science in a fun, hands‑on manner.
The three floors of the Centre have been designed around different themes, with more than 400 exhibits that provided opportunities for children to interact, play, and learn by exploring science in a hands‑on way. From the Science Garden to the fantastic Anti‑Gravity Room, every area within the Centre promoted fun and excitement to encourage curiosity about science and the world around us.
Children participated in a variety of experiments and hands‑on activities, which helped them connect what they have been taught in the classroom with what they observed in real life. This trip fostered and developed critical thinking, observation, and questioning skills.
The trip was not only fun but also very educational, as it sparked children’s interest in learning more about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) at a very young age. Our students were able to learn, think, and explore beyond the classroom walls, which was a wonderful experience!
