As the soft afternoon light filtered into the Arts Room, it painted vibrant hues across the space, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Recently, BCP-Potohar hosted a transformative Arts Therapy session, guided by the talented Ms. Riffat Ghaffar in collaboration with the Arts Attack Club. Designed to foster inclusivity and emotional connection, the session created a safe space for students to explore their emotions and alleviate unwanted thoughts through creative expression.

Beginning with an insightful discussion on the conscious and subconscious mind, participants delved into how artistic expression often emerges from our inner depths. Ms. Ghaffar emphasized that by tapping into our subconscious, we can unlock our true selves and experience profound inner freedom.

Equipped with A4 sheets and a variety of art supplies—from colors to magazines—students engaged in creating personal artworks that reflected their emotions. As they worked, the room buzzed with creativity and shared stories, each piece representing a unique journey of reflection and healing.

The session was more than just an artistic endeavor; it was a celebration of vulnerability, connection, and self-discovery. By fostering dialogue and creativity, this arts therapy session invited students to not only express themselves but also to embrace their individuality within a supportive community. In doing so, they began to unearth the beauty of their emotions and shared experiences.
