The “Leader in Me” framework encourages leadership in every student by teaching them valuable life skills, starting with the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. The first habit, “Be Proactive,” is foundational in fostering responsibility and self-leadership.
Today’s morning assembly presented by our brilliant students of 1-Blue was focused on explaining “Be Proactive,” emphasizing how this habit encourages individuals to take control of their actions and decisions. They explained that being proactive means not blaming others for their circumstances but instead understanding that they are in charge of their behavior and outcomes. Through beautiful short role plays the students demonstrated that how being proactive helps them solve problems, manage emotions, and work towards personal goals—key elements in becoming an effective leader both in school and in life. Parents also enjoyed the assembly and appreciated teacher’s efforts.
