2nd PTM

This is a meeting between the parent and the teacher to talk about your child’s learning and progress. They might be called parent-teacher interviews, parent-teacher conferences, or even learning conferences.

Parent-teacher meetings work as a connecting link between parents and teachers as through them, the parents know how the child behaves and is doing at home while the teachers know about their behavior at school. The union of the teacher’s feedback and the parent’s concern can immensely help a child’s educational journey. Conducting effective parent-teacher conferences can boost family involvement in your classroom and help promote positive outcomes for you, your students, and your school. A parent-teacher conference is a great opportunity to:

  • share academic progress and growth based on classroom observations, testing data, assessments, portfolios, and assignments
  • learn from parents or guardians so you can be better informed about students’ strengths, needs, behaviors, and learning styles
  • discuss enrichment or intervention strategies to support students’ learning
  • discuss issues that may be interfering with students’ learning and growth

Today the 2nd PTM was held at BKI-PWD to discuss the progress and academic future of the students of each level.
