24th December, 2021 was the last working day of the first term of the session 2021-22. The last working day always holds great importance for the students as they make lots of memories to cherish during their holidays.
We at BEC decided to make it more eventful and memorable by holding a “Winter Carnival” for our students to enjoy the cold season ahead.
For our very dear Early Years’ students’, different games and fun-filled activities were organized in the Saad Sadiq Hall which, in a glance, looked like an area carved out of snow with penguins and oaks welcoming the students to enjoy different areas created for them to admire.
For our Primary, Middle and O’ level students, the activities were arranged in our spacious ground which was all white to give the feel and comfort of snow. Different games like Frosty Snowball Toss, Ring Toss, Snowball Slam, Bowling, Pin the nose, Balloon Darts and Dead in Target were arranged to keep the students entertained. Apart from the joyous activities, to challenge the analytical skills of students, we also had Chess Competitions which our students really loved to participate in.
BEC’s Got Talent was another main highlight of the Carnival, where students displayed their confidence and showed utmost interest.
Young boys and girls loved our face painting and hairdo skills and experimented with their hairstyles and coloring. Overall, it was a day students will appreciate throughout their winter break.
Winter break is the much needed time for students to relax and rejuvenate and events like the Winter Carnival are the best way, to begin with. The holiday break has lots of benefits that include better sleep, relieving stress and anxiety The overall wellness improves outlook on life and students’ productivity in the next term.
