“A teacher is a compass that activates the magnets of curiosity, knowledge and wisdom” by Ever Garrison.

Teachers…the ones who hold the hands of the learners and take them across the river of learning. A right teacher provides the right direction and never leaves the learner in between to drown, especially in today’s era of unfiltered information and knowledge that comes from all corners and when the young mind is easily distracted. It’s the teachers who work 24/7 to keep inventing new strategies to incorporate in their teaching.

We at BSS give utmost respect to the most honourable community~ teachers. Every year, as around the globe, we also try to make this day special for them. The students especially make it memorable for their teachers by presenting handmade cards whereas, the management also showed their gratitude for their tireless efforts by presenting a small token of gratitude.

Our Student Council organized many exciting events to establish the feeling of respect and comfort every student has for their teachers. First, there was a tough contest between the girls from Secondary, and the female teachers. It was a melodious game of musical chairs in the colossal hall. A few girls and some teachers were selected and the contest began! After this, the Student Council led the teachers and students to the ground, where a tough battle of tug of war commenced. The teachers and students bonded at every step of the games, and were rewarded by a chance to avail some time free of the tension of their students’ future. For the male staff, the boy’s council stimulated a cricket tournament of five overs each afterschool to increase the intensity of the match. Both teams played vigorously, however, the male teachers showed their seniority and experience by emerging victorious. Nevertheless, the boys team didn’t give up without a fight!

Finally, a combined assembly was arranged where the students thanked their teachers by honouring them with memorable titles, full of respect and love. As each teacher took the stage, a roar of applause was constituted from the crowd. The two narrators were confidently showering compliments on the teachers and this created a warm and lovely environment. Ms. Maheen Shafqat, Head of School, also shared a few words.

Teachers are a treasure for the future of society, and they give their all for the better upbringing of your child. Teachers give attention and make sure that all learners get each and every topic. A very happy Teacher’s Day to All!
