Early Years students presented a special assembly to pay tribute to the poet of the East. Parents of our budding stars were there too to appreciate their efforts. The props and students’ efforts made the ambiance mesmerising.
Students of Grade 4 and 5 prepared presentations on Google Slides about different aspects of Sir Allama Mohammad Iqbal’s personality and life.
An invigorative quiz session was held in middle school to revive the spirit of retrospection, investigation and exploration of the life of Sir Allama Iqbal. This quiz was divided in three sections: his biography, his early and higher education, his career and efforts for a separate homeland. Students prepared and excitedly engaged in the first round of the quiz, held on Tuesday, 9th November 2021.
Selected students from all sections participated in second round of the quiz, held on Thursday, 11th November 2021 where boys and girls made their input through buzzer rounds.
Students of higher grades took part in a speech competition where they explored different aspects of Sir Allama Iqbal’s life and career. His poetic verse became the center of discussion.
Winning teams were awarded with certificates and a special applause was cheered for all those who participated.
Throughout the week, we at BEC paid homage to our national poet by organizing assembly presentations and inestimable quiz and speech sessions. This was our way to show love and respect to the one who dreamt of Pakistan.
