Excitement, Growth, and Familiar Faces: Our New Journey Ahead

What a journey this has been, and what a new chapter it’s shaping up to be! From toddlers to grade 2, we’ve always been at the heart of early learning, and now we’re expanding to include all of Early Years and Primary. The merger has brought a fresh wave of excitement, and I can’t help but feel my heart dancing with joy as we get ready to welcome our little ones into this new, inclusive environment.

For me, it’s not just about making timetables or organizing events. This is the start of an entirely new journey. We’ve spent so much time creating spaces that are just right for our youngest learners, and now, as the school expands, we’re making sure every corner is ready for every student, from toddlers to grade 5. It’s a place where familiar faces meet new experiences, and I’m absolutely thrilled to be part of it all.

When I think back to my days as a parent here, I remember standing at those PTA meetings, surrounded by other moms, discussing everything from exam schedules to field trips. I was just like any other parent; interested in supporting the school, but mostly concerned with my child’s experience and making sure everything ran smoothly.

Now, I’m still here, but I’m on the other side of that equation. I’m not just attending meetings; I’m coordinating them. I’m not just helping with school events; I’m planning them. It’s funny how those same hallways I used to rush through with my son are now where I organize and manage timetables, but it doesn’t feel like a dramatic shift. There’s a sense of familiarity, of déjà vu, like the school is still the same in many ways. It’s like walking back into your childhood home! You recognize it, but there’s a whole new rhythm to it now that you’re seeing it from a different angle.

As I walk these hallways once again, it’s clear: though it’s a bigger, bolder setup now, it’s still filled with the same warmth, care, and excitement we’ve always had; only now, there’s more of it to share!
