Iqbal Day is celebrated annually on November 9th to honour the birth anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the national poet and philosopher who is regarded as the “Spiritual Father of Pakistan”. The day is observed to pay tribute to his vision, poetry, and significant contributions that inspired the idea of a separate homeland for Muslims in the subcontinent. His collaboration with Muhammed Ali Jinnah helped free Muslims from the grasp of India and he is highly underappreciated.
