You know how sometimes you walk into a place and it just smells amazing? Or you sit down and you’re not instantly worried about catching something? Well, that’s what it’s like at our school, Beacon House Harley Street. It’s not just a place to learn; it’s a place that feels fresh. And that’s something we, as students, can really appreciate.

Think about it. We spend hours here every single day. We’re running through the hallways, studying, eating our lunch e.t.c. It’s basically our second home. So, it makes sense that we want it to be clean and tidy, right?

But why is it so important? For starters, it just feels better. Coming to a clean school every day makes me feel more ready to learn. It’s like my brain feels a bit clearer too. Plus, it’s just much nicer to spend time in a place that looks good.

And then there’s the health factor. We all know how easily germs can spread in schools. All those door handles, water coolers, and desks! If the school isn’t cleaned properly, it’s like an invitation for every cold and flu virus in the neighborhood. And trust me, nobody likes being sick. It means missing school, missing out on fun stuff, and generally feeling miserable. So, a clean school is like a giant, invisible shield protecting us from all those nasty bugs.

But here’s the best part: it’s not just the cleaning staff that makes it happen. We all play a part. We have to be responsible and pick up after ourselves. No leaving wrappers on the floor, no throwing litter around, and definitely no graffiti on the walls. It’s about taking pride in our school and treating it with respect.

So, next time you walk into BSS Harley Street, take a second to look around. Notice how the floors shine, how the classrooms sparkle, and how the air feels fresh. It’s all thanks to the hard work of our amazing cleaning crew and the responsible attitudes of our students. We should all be proud to go to such a clean and healthy school.

Ayra Ali |6-A Hey everyone!
