Model Town Campus, Bahawalpur, proudly hosted a prestigious inter-school Urdu speech competition, aimed at nurturing students’ intellectual and linguistic abilities while introducing them to the art of eloquence and public speaking. The event brought together enthusiastic participants from Beaconhouse Model Town Campus, Beaconhouse Main Campus Bahawalpur, and Army Public School Bahawalpur, where Grade VII students showcased their oratory excellence.

The competition was judged by esteemed panelists, Ms. Aneela Azmat (Punjab College, Bahawalpur) and Mr. Tariq Aziz (UCP Bahawalpur Campus), whose presence added depth and credibility to the event. Students delivered powerful and thought-provoking speeches on both serious and humorous topics, captivating the audience with their confidence, clarity, and expression.

In the serious category, titled “Kya Zamane Mein Panapnay Ki Yahi Baatein Hain”, Mohsina Nasir and Tooba Hoorain (APS Middle, Bahawalpur) secured 1st position, followed by Bareera Butt (Model Town Campus) in 2nd place, and Muhammad Ayaan Bin Salman (Model Town Campus) in 3rd place.

In the humorous category, “Bin Bulaye Mehman”, Mehroze Akhtar (Model Town Campus) and Fatima Shehzad (APS Middle, Bahawalpur) achieved 1st position, Ahmed Usman (Main Campus Bahawalpur) secured 2nd place, while Abu Huraira Shafqat (Model Town Campus) earned 3rd position.

In his remarks, Mr. Tariq Aziz appreciated Model Town Campus for its commendable efforts in promoting the Urdu language and organizing enriching literary activities, highlighting their role in cultivating a love for expression among the younger generation.

The event concluded with the distribution of certificates and prizes to the winners, marking a successful and inspiring celebration of language, intellect, and eloquence.
