Continuing the tradition of inviting respected grandparents to the school, Model Town Campus organized Grandparents’ Day on Friday, February 3, 2023. The event took a magnificent start with the sacred name of Allah. A welcome performance by the little angels of Pre-Nursery was enjoyed by the audience. Students of class KG Blue and KG Pink elevated the mood of the audience by performing magical recitals followed by a thoughtful roleplay. Little fairies of Nursery Pink amused the audience with their Mermaid tableau with their grandparents’ glasses on. KG pink students told the history of Grandparents’ Day and later exhibited yoga exercises. The event took an interesting twist when it became mandatory for the audience to join students in yoga exercises. All the guests eagerly participated in this activity. The melodious Qawali performance by Nursery Blue added flavor to the event. Latterly, the grandma of Fatima Haider, Mrs. Rehana Sadiq came to the stage for a storytelling activity, which was thoroughly enjoyed by the students. At last, we had some fun games arranged for our beloved grandparents to make them feel more cherished and appreciated.
