World Book Day at the Early Years Campus was an enchanting event that transformed our school into a wonderland of literary joy. This special day opened doors to new worlds, sparking imaginations and instilling a lifelong love for reading in our young learners.

The festivities kicked off with a spirited morning assembly by the KG Lily students. Their captivating performance of “The Princess Who Never Smiled” was a highlight of the day. They didn’t just tell a story—they brought it to life, showcasing the magic of books and reminding us all of their profound importance. Their energy and enthusiasm set a wonderful tone for the day ahead.

But the excitement didn’t stop there! Each classroom buzzed with a variety of engaging and creative activities. Our students got hands-on with crafting intricate bookmarks, creating personalized keepsakes to cherish their favorite stories. The Drop Everything and Read (DEAR) sessions provided serene moments of immersion, where students could dive deep into their beloved books and let their imaginations soar.

The fun continued with spellbinding puppet shows, where beloved characters leaped off the pages and into our hearts. Artistic expression was in full swing as students colored vibrant pictures of their favorite book characters, filling the classrooms with a rainbow of creativity.

The entire day was infused with boundless energy and enthusiasm. It was a powerful reminder that books are more than just pages—they are essential companions on our journey of knowledge. They open doors to endless possibilities, spark our imaginations, and teach us about the world and ourselves.

As World Book Day came to a close, it was clear that the magic of the day would linger long after. Our students were not only celebrating books but also embracing the joy of learning and discovery. This special day reaffirmed our commitment to fostering a love for reading, ensuring that our young learners are equipped for a lifetime of exploration and growth.
