Celebrating the Richness of Urdu!

This week, Gojra campus’ hallways echoed with the melodious sounds of Urdu poetry, powerful speeches, and heartwarming stories as we celebrated Urdu Week—an event designed to honor the beauty and significance of our national language. The vibrant participation of students made this week unforgettable, showcasing their immense talent and passion for the Urdu language.

The festivities began with a captivating opening ceremony, where students delivered inspiring speeches highlighting the historical importance and cultural depth of Urdu. From its origins to its poetic legacy, the speakers left the audience spellbound with their eloquence and dedication to preserving this linguistic treasure.

One of the highlights of the week was the poetry recitation by our little poets from KG , where budding poets and enthusiasts took the stage to recite timeless verses from legends like Allama Iqbal and Mirza Ghalib. The rhythmic flow of words, coupled with expressive delivery, brought the audience to their feet, appreciating the art of shayari.

The storytelling sessions added a layer of warmth and nostalgia to the celebrations. Students brought to life the enchanting tales of Urdu literature, weaving stories that touched hearts and ignited imaginations. From classic folktales to modern narratives, every performance resonated with the audience, fostering a deeper connection with Urdu’s literary heritage.

The week also featured cultural performances on urdu poems and national songs celebrating the themes of unity, identity, and patriotism. Through their creative expressions, students highlighted the role of Urdu as a unifying force and a symbol of our shared heritage.

Urdu Week concluded with a Certificate takeawys by Worthy Ma’am Nisaim Pasha, recognizing the exceptional efforts of students who shone throughout the event.
