Safety First: Empowering Students and Teachers with Rescue 1122 Awareness!

“In a world where emergencies can arise unexpectedly, preparedness is key”.

At Gojra Campus, safety takes center stage as we welcomed a special session conducted by Rescue 1122 on 25th March , shed light on the importance of emergency response and equipped students and staff with life-saving skills.

The session kicked off with an introduction to Rescue 1122, Pakistan’s leading emergency service renowned for its swift response and efficient rescue operations. Students and the staff gained valuable insights into the organization’s mission, structure, and the wide array of services it offers to the community. From basic first aid techniques to CPR demonstrations, students actively engaged in hands-on training sessions conducted by trained professionals. Through interactive simulations and role-playing exercises, they learnt how to respond effectively to common emergencies, including accidents, medical crises, and natural disasters.

Fire safety is paramount, and students receive comprehensive guidance on fire prevention strategies, evacuation procedures, and the proper use of fire extinguishers. With practical demonstrations and mock drills, they gain the confidence to handle fire-related emergencies with composure and efficiency. With road traffic accidents being a major concern, students are sensitized to the importance of road safety measures and responsible behavior as pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists. Interactive sessions highlighted the significance of obeying traffic rules, wearing seat belts, and practicing defensive driving to mitigate the risk of accidents.

The session extended beyond the classroom as students are encouraged to become ambassadors of safety within their communities. They took pledge to spread awareness about emergency preparedness, conduct safety workshops, and actively participated in community service initiatives aimed at promoting a culture of safety and resilience.

By the end, prioritizing safety and preparedness, we paved the way for a safer, more resilient future – one where every individual is equipped to handle emergencies with confidence and compassion.
