Exciting things are happening in our neighborhood! The Community Club (Agents of Change) of Gojra Campus has launched a fantastic new project aimed at rejuvenating the Ladies Park under the great guidance of Worthy school Head Ma’am Nisaim Pasha and teachers who lead this club, creating a welcoming and vibrant space for women and families. This initiative is not just about beautification; it’s about fostering community spirit and empowering our women. Join us as we recount this inspiring journey!
A Day at the Park: Understanding the Need for Change
Our project kicked off with a visit to the Ladies Park. The agents of change from the community club explored the park, took notes of its current state and discussed their ideas for improvement. Their eyes lit up with enthusiasm as they envisioned a space filled with flowers, seating areas, and safe play zones.
Engaging with Leadership: Meeting the Commissioner
Next, the students had the incredible opportunity to meet with the local commissioner. This meeting was pivotal as it helped them understand the importance of community involvement and how local governance can support projects like theirs. Following the commissioner’s visit, the students organized a meeting with their parents to share their vision for the park.
