Child is all what matters!
PTM (Parents Teacher Meeting) is the avenue to shore up the alliance between teachers and parents to assess the kid’s overall progress and also the areas that need improvement. Such beneficial meetups are significantly arranged in regard to the fact that,
Collegiality or Synergy is mutually beneficial.
After all, we are all working towards the same goal: to enhance the learning experience for the child. But the crucial factor that is needed to be focused in this meetup is the way of communication.
Communicating well may be a key factor for creating this relationship work efficiently
because the observation of the teacher and parents that is shared in the PTMs where at one end allows both to acknowledge and celebrate the student’s strong points, analogously at the other end provides a platform to not only discuss the weaknesses but also to come up with strategies to overcome them.
1st PTM of session 2023-2024 was scheduled in Beaconhouse Gojra Campus. Parents were invited to the campus for the well-organized meet and greet session. A handsome number of parents put in their appearances on that day for the most fruitful meetup of the year. Teachers were forearmed with the data that they have already scraped together either through personal observations or through assessments. They were eagerly looking forward to that time where they could officially discuss each tid-bit factor that could work for the betterment of children.
The reason of it having numerous benefits is being the first PTM of the session, it is the most crucial stage of the year because the beginning of the varsity year may be a time of transition for several kids. While many parents and youngsters anticipate the change some may experience anxiety watching new faces, new teachers, new classrooms, and new schedules and undoubtedly the robust bond between the teachers and fogeys can slowly help the kid overcome his fear of latest beginnings and alter.
The PTM went so smoothly building a healthy relationship among parents and the teachers with the sprinkle of humour during conversations. Student council was illustrated it’s duty which it paid off very enthusiastically and made sure the smooth on going of meeting. The parents feedback and outcome was very appreciative towards the administration and the staff. The focused points of the discussions were jotted down and gave a potent kick start to more effective and engaging planning from teachers as well as parents side.
