Defence Day of Pakistan was celebrated with great zeal and fervour on 6th of September 2022 at Beaconhouse School System Kindergarten II North Nazimabad Campus. Students paid tribute to the honourable Armed Forces of Pakistan and saluted the nation’s brave soldiers for their courage, valour and sacrifices rendered to safeguard the country’s sovereignty.
The highlight of the day was a special morning assembly presentation dedicated to the national heroes. Students of Class One gave a beautiful presentation on the evergreen song ‘Chand Meri Zameen Phool Mera Watan’. Heartwarming speeches were given by students to commemorate the noble sacrifices. A thrilling Army tableau was performed by students. This action packed performance was well received by the audience and much appreciated. A fascinating rendition of the national song “Hum Zinda Qaum Hain” was performed by the choir.
It is rightly said, the defence of a nation is not strengthened by weapons but the emotions and courage of the people. Our heroes are our pride. Pakistan Zindabad.
