Art fosters mental growth by giving students a fantastic creative outlet for trying out new ideas, thinking out of the box, enhance their decision making and critical thinking skills.

Art Fest was held at Beaconhouse Kindergarten II Campus, North Nazimabad in December. The event was organized to give the little ones a chance to express their creativity and imagination through art displays. We deeply value creativity and art in education and believe in providing continuous opportunities to students for self-expression through a variety of art and craft activities.

Art exhibits were categorized level wise where every level presented their work using different art techniques. Toddlers and Pre Nursery students presented their project ‘Smush Paint Art’ whereas, Nursery students displayed their project ‘Rainbow Inchies’ using a variety of techniques including collage work, fork printing, fingertip printing and sponge printing. Kindergarten students worked on a collaborative art project ‘Flower Power’ and did wonders.

Lower Primary students created an art display ‘Marine World’ depicting under water life. The different techniques used by them were patch work, freehand painting, paper quilling, origami, doodling and paper weaving. They created an impressive colourful display that received recognition and appreciation from every visitor.

Parents were fascinated by the efforts of students and enjoyed their time at the event. Art stations were also set up for the visitors where they did hand printing, pot painting and still life sketching. On the way back they took along a memorable souvenir. We were pleased to host such a lively and colourful event and will continue to promote skills and talents of our students.
