Yesterday, I became an Earth Superhero!
I learned that our planet needs our help, so I decided to do something really good for the environment right at home.
I noticed that when I brush my teeth, I usually leave the water running. Water just pours down the drain while I brush! So, last night and this morning, I did something different. I turned off the tap tightly while brushing. I only turned it back on when it was time to rinse.
Guess what?
It felt amazing! My teacher told us that turning off the tap saves up to 8 gallons of water a day. That is enough to fill up a lot of water bottles! I told my mom and dad about it, and now our whole family is doing it. Saving water is super easy, and it makes the Earth very happy.
