Ameera Fatima, III-C
My name is Ameera Fatima. I am in Grade III-C. One day at school, I saw a boy sitting alone. His name was Ali. Some children were laughing at him because his bag was old. He looked very sad and quiet. I did not like this. I felt bad for him. I thought, “What if I were in his place?” I wanted to do something to make him feel better.
So, I went and sat next to Ali. I smiled and said, “Can I play with you?” He smiled a little. Then we started playing together. Some other children came and started laughing again. I said, “This is not nice. We should be kind to everyone.” The teacher also heard us and told the class to respect everyone and not hurt others.
After that, the children stopped teasing Ali. Ali became my good friend. We play together every day now. He is very happy, and I am happy too. I learned that even a small action can stop bullying. If we are kind and brave, we can break the chain. We should always be nice to others, no matter what. Being kind is the most important thing. I am glad I helped Ali, and I will keep being kind to everyone. It feels nice to make someone happy.
I think we should all try to be kind and help others when they need it. We can make a big difference in someone’s life. Ali is very nice, and I am lucky to have him as my friend. I will always stand up for my friends and be kind to everyone. Our school can be a happy place if we are kind and respectful to each other. Let’s show kindness and help everyone around us.
