BSS Johar Town Campus was honored to host Mr. Omer Aftab, CEO of Pink Ribbon Pakistan, for an impactful breast cancer awareness session with our students.
Mr. Aftab shared Pink Ribbon’s vital work—Pakistan’s leading breast cancer NGO since 2004—empowering millions through education, free screenings (like 3,700+ mammograms for the underprivileged), early detection campaigns, and their new dedicated Breast Cancer Hospital offering free treatment. He emphasized prevention tips (healthy lifestyle, self-exams) and early detection’s life-saving power, noting 70% of cases reach late stages due to awareness gaps—knowledge our students can now spread in their communities.
