Dear Parents
As Part of Beaconhouses’ Sustainability Efforts, We are going to plant one native sapling sapling in each of the Beaconhouse schools across Pakistan on Earth Day, 22nd April, at 12.30pm. This nationwide activity is the launch of our pledge to plant 5000 saplings by 2025.
To uphold the preservation of both new saplings and future green spaces within our schools, we have implemented a sapling and Green Spaces Protection Charter. This charter will be prominently displayed in a main school area. We encourage students, faculty, administrative staff, and all members of the school community to sign beneath the poster.
Simultaneously, the Chairperson, Mrs. Nasreen Kasuri, and Chief Executive, Mr. Kasim Kasuri will conduct the tree
planting at the Head Office, and the Regional Directors in their respective Regional Offices.
While the plantation activity is being conducted lights electricity will also be turned off for 5 minutes across Beaconhouse schools and offices. This activity not only promotes environmental awareness but also contributes to our efforts against climate change.
A billion may seem a big number, but with your help, we can achieve it. Reforestation is essential in combating climate change. Let’s walk together on this journey to reduce our carbon footprint!
Regards,
Administration
