To identify the reasons and consequences of a paradigm shift related to Unemployment and Automation, a BOSS Panel Discussion titled, \u2018Unemployment and Automation, a Paradigm Shift\u2019 was held at Beaconhouse Johar Town Boys Campus, Lahore. The event started with the recitation and translation of a few verses from the Holy Quran by the students followed by the national anthem.
Ms Eesha Qayyum \u2013 (Senior Officer – Alumni Relations Department, Beaconhouse) welcomed the audience and introduced the Beaconhouse Old Students Society (BOSS). She stressed the key elements and basic objectives of BOSS.
Panelists included Mr Saad Ahmad, Class of 2014, Senior Software Engineer, Team Lead. At Cinnova Technologies,
Mr. Syed Lakht e Hassan, Class of 2019, Civil Engineer Student at NUST,
Mr Huzaifa Ahmad, Class of 2011, Co-Founder RIZQ, Mr. Hammad Khan
Class of 2017, Medical Student at KEMU. Ms. Farah Waqas (Assistant Manager \u2013 Alumni Relations Department, Beaconhouse) moderated the session. Ms Naila facilitated the Alumni Relations Team in every respect which made this event a success!
The event concluded with a questions and answers session with the students and ending remarks by Ms Attia Randhawa (School Head). Finally, the panelists were presented with bouquets and giveaways, followed by refreshments.
