As we move forward into 2023, it is important to take a moment to acknowledge the contributions and achievements of women in the workplace. International Women’s Day is a globally recognized celebration of the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women, and it provides an excellent opportunity for companies to honour the women in their workforce. Whether it’s through creating a supportive workplace environment, promoting gender equality, or simply showing appreciation for their hard work.
To celebrate this very moment JTCB senior school organised a special assembly on March 9, 2023. Students of 9C prepared a presentation to acknowledge the role of Pakistani women who proved their vigour and became pride for the whole nation.
The guest speaker Dr. Taskeen Zahra; Assistant Professor at Fatima Jinnah Medical University, an ardent researcher and also a PhD student and Ms. Misbah Muneer; Manager at Alllied Bank were invited to share their thoughts on role of men in uplifting women. Both the distinguished guests shared their opinions and experiences about women empowerment in our own country. Our very own Ms. Soofia concluded the programme with her invaluable analysis and made the students implement the theme in their routine from today onwards.
