Active collaboration is a key to successful learning where students are encouraged to make connections between their prior knowledge and new concepts. JTC Lower Primary planned interactive and insightful activities for the students of grade II to enhance their Urdu language skills and get them experientially involved in the learning process. The journey began with ‘Aao Urdu Seekhein’ till Preparation of Projects. They prepared booklets and posters based on their reader “Kheit sy Plate Tak”. These meaningful activities helped them to reflect on their understanding and created awareness amongst students about saving food and reducing food waste. They realized how much hard work is required in preparing food right from growing crops till cooking nutritious meals. They also learned about various crops and the process through which a final product is obtained. Their energy, excitement and joy in preparing these colourful and exquisite projects into concrete form was truly praiseworthy.
