Johar Town Junior Branch holds celebrations for alphabets, and āPā Day is always one of the favourite days of our tiny tots. Students were encouraged to come in their most comfy PJs. The ‘Play’ area was transformed into a heaven of moon and stars with balloons and bedding to go along with the decorations. They brought different kinds of food that starts with ‘P’ like pancakes, popcorns, pizza, pastry, and patties etc. The children were thrilled to play with pink and purple balloons, listened bedtime stories with their favourite toys, pretended to sleep and enjoyed their favourite ‘P’ snacks. What an amazing amalgamation of colourful pyjamas, mushy pillows and soft toys. Indeed, it was fun!
This pyjama party proved to be a platform where young learners developed social connections, learnt and retained associated vocabulary words through connection with real life objects.
