Beaconhouse JTJ celebrated International Peace Day on September 21, 2024. In preparation for the event, students were educated about the day’s significance. The celebration began with an engaging and well-organized morning assembly, where students wore colorful outfits and displayed beautifully handcrafted posters related to World Peace Day, featuring a mix of drawings and messages.
Nursery students engaged their fellows by discussing the valuable benefits of observing Peace Day. Some students emphasized the global importance of the day, while others shared ways individuals can promote peace both within our country and beyond. The event concluded with a Peace Day song.
As a memento, students took home Peace Day-themed souvenirs featuring pictures and relevant quotes. Additionally, class teachers held circle time discussions, allowing each student to express how they can contribute to promoting peace. Below are some highlights from the day.
