Last week of January, our pre-nurseries at Beaconhouse Johar Town Junior branch was bursting with colours as we celebrated Colour Splash Week! From vibrant art activities to exciting dress-up days, our little learners explored colours in the most creative ways. Here’s a peek at our colourful adventures!
Red Day – Warm Welcome!
We started the week with red colour, the warmest and happiest colour! The children came dressed in red outfits and had fun painting objects together on a big screen. Kids had red colour fruits and other eatables together with making strawberry crafts and collages in apples.
Yellow Day – Nature’s Hues
Yellow is the colour of friendships and calmness. The little ones painted beautiful bananas and minions on the big screens with friends. Students came dressed in yellow colour and had some yummiest coloured treats! They also brought their yellow toys along. They made sunflower and sun crafts too.
- Blue Day – Magical Moments
Sea life was our inspiration as we explored blue. The little ones painted beautiful oceans and felly fish on the big screens with friends. The playground turned into a magical ocean with blue toys and decor! We all dressed in blue colour, painted bluebells, made small bracelets of blue pasta and amazing jellyfish crafts!
Day 4: Green Extravaganza!
Keeping in mind the Greenery we celebrated Green Day. The little ones painted beautiful plants and pears on the big screens with friends. The playground turned into a huge jungle! We were all dressed in green colour. Students did peas shelling and vegetable printing. They also brought green toys and vegetables!
Day 5: Black & White – Happy Feet
Our black-and-white day was full of contrast and fun! The children explored patterns with zebra stripes, panda bears and penguin crafts.
We also experimented with weaving activity and played puzzles game of panda and balls. We had a classic black-and-white dress-up day!
Colour Splash Week was a fantastic way to engage our pre-nursery students in learning through play. It encourage creativity, sensory exploration, and lots of laughter! We can’t wait to do it again next year.
