World Cleanup Day on September 20 was a fantastic opportunity for our students to learn about caring for our planet. We engaged in a week-long campaign filled with fun activities that promoted environmental awareness.
The day kicked off with an informative assembly where students discussed the benefits of cleanliness. In homeroom sessions, they engaged in thoughtful discussions about why we should clean up. To spread awareness, students created vibrant banners and posters, walking class to class to share their messages.
A highlight of the day was the litter hunt, where students cleaned the school grounds and organized their classrooms. They also participated in a craft session and a washing activity, learning to keep their belongings clean. Students recorded short videos of their home cleaning efforts, which we shared on our social media pages. The day ended with lively clean-up rhymes.
World Cleanup Day instilled a sense of responsibility in our children, teaching them that small actions can contribute to a healthier planet. Together, we celebrated by making our surroundings cleaner and nurturing a love for the Earth!
Happy World Cleanup Day!
