Beaconhouse aims to focus on multidisciplinary learning through manipulative play at early years to enhance students learning, boost their confidence and healthy brain development. Thereupon, we at BSS-JTJ celebrated “Teddy’s Tea Party” for our little learners to make them learn the vocabulary of /t/ sound through fun filled activities.
All the students were motivated to be critical thinkers, find friends of letter/t/ in their surroundings and bring them to school to be shared with their fellows. Students brought different things like tomatoes, toy train, tiger, truck etc., presented it to their buddies while saying short descriptive sentences about them. Moreover, they also enjoyed different theme-based activities like making/t/ crafts, tomato sandwiches and tea party with teddy. Crowning accomplishment was the role plays of travelling in the train and exploring living in a tent. It was a tremendous day filled with lots of jollification and learning.
