On 30th April 2025, Beaconhouse Johar Town Junior lit up the stage with its much-anticipated annual theatrical extravaganza – “The Annual Play
2025.” The event, held at the prestigious Ali Auditorium, brought together creativity, confidence, and collaboration, showcasing the exceptional efforts of students from Pre-Nursery, Nursery, and Kindergarten levels. Months of rehearsals, tireless preparation by teachers, and enthusiastic participation from our young stars culminated in a vibrant celebration of the performing arts, joyfully watched and appreciated by proud parents, families, and distinguished guests.
🌟 Pre-Nursery: A Musical Wonderland
The tiniest members of our JTJ family dazzled the audience with their adorable performances set to catchy tunes. Their themed musical presentation brought the auditorium to life with vibrant costumes, colourful props, and synchronised movements. From dancing flowers to cheerful animals, each child shone with confidence and joy, capturing hearts and earning cheerful applause. Their performance was a true celebration of rhythm, expression, and early confidence-building on stage. We were honoured to have Ms. Attia Randhawa, Headmistress at Johar Town Boys Campus, as the Chief Guest for this segment. She praised the dedication of the staff and the incredible poise of our youngest learners.
🏝️ Nursery: Madagascar – A Journey of Friendship and Adventure
Our Nursery students took the audience on an unforgettable journey with their stage adaptation of “Madagascar”. With scenes set in a pirate’s den, stormy jungles, and the icy winds of Antarctica, each moment was brought to life with creative sets, energetic choreography, and expressive storytelling. The play celebrated the themes of friendship, teamwork, and togetherness, with children embracing their characters enthusiastically.
Every scene was carefully crafted to reflect not just entertainment but values that resonate with young learners. The crowd was in awe as the students confidently delivered lines, danced in harmony, and stayed perfectly in character throughout the performance.
🌳 Kindergarten: The Lorax – The Garden of Sustainability.
The Kindergarten level delivered a powerful message through their thought-provoking adaptation of “The Lorax – The Garden of Sustainability”. The performance began with scenes of a lush, green utopia, filled with life, colour, and joy. As the story progressed, the audience witnessed the devastation caused by pollution, deforestation, and carelessness, portrayed through striking visual transitions and dramatic action. The play concluded with a hopeful and heartwarming message as the characters came together to rebuild what had been lost through plantation, care, and awareness. It was a beautiful reflection of our commitment to raising environmentally conscious and responsible individuals. Ms. Seemi Shafqat, Principal at Beaconhouse Canal Side Campus, graced the Kindergarten event as our Chief Guest, lauding the courage and expression displayed by the students, and the brilliant direction by the teachers.

The event was meticulously planned with separate time slots for each level to ensure comfort and enjoyment for the audience and participants alike. The auditorium echoed with cheers, laughter, and heartfelt appreciation as our students took to the stage with unmatched enthusiasm. The success of The Annual Play 2025 is a testament to the team spirit, planning, and dedication of the entire JTJ staff, as well as the support and encouragement from our wonderful parent community. More than just a stage performance, it was a celebration of learning beyond the classroom – nurturing confidence, creativity, and a sense of shared accomplishment.
