with pride, happiness and applause. The objective of graduation ceremonies is not only to award the students with degrees, medals and shields but also to connect to their hearts and minds and awaken their sense of self accountability and humility. This new stage comes withnew responsibilities, new adjustments, new environment and certainly a new life for all the graduates. “Finally you have done it !!” is the voice of every parent watching their child climbing the first stepping stone of their academic career. The last months until they hit graduation, the final lap of the race, is surely as tough as a roller coaster ride , but memorable like never before.  After the year of lockdown and google meet sessions , returning back to everyday life has been very demanding and tiring, Final year has most definitely been the bittersweet living of wanting to do everything you can before it ends. The last time to sign up to events, activities, and societies and making the most of your school experience. However, it is also a reality check for every individual grad to understand and define the balance between education and social life.

This year is a massive step up to being left on your own. To be given major roles  and allowing oneself to stand independently to work through it. This graduation will mean setting up  own routine, schedule, and working even harder. However, this comes with a lot of responsibility and discipline. As reiterated by our Chief Guest Dr. Urusa Fahim ,Dean Humanities at Kinnaird College for Women Lahore. She also tried instilling further, the known facts like women empowering women. Moreover full credit was given to the male members of our society who have empowered wives, mothers, daughters and sisters. The Principal herself gave the message of acceptance, forgiveness and empathy. What a graceful procession ,witnessed by all !!
