The impressive Oath Taking Ceremony at BSS Girls Campus Canal Side:
Deserving young talents of our campus, were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their School from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence on November, 16th 2021 in the school premises.
The Ceremony started with a warm welcoming of The Principal, administration and faculty. The school held the Ceremony with great enthusiasm. The Oath taking ceremony marked a significant beginning of leadership roles for students which in turn enhanced the motivation and confidence level of all elected candidates. It was a solemn occasion where the young students were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of leaders and a sense of responsibility the “Prefectorial Body” was formed consisting of the Head Girl, Deputy Head Girl, Matric Representative and Class Prefects
The event opened with an impressive parade presented by the cadets who were invested with various responsibilities —Captains, Vice-Captains ,Presidents, Vice Presidents , Dignity Ambassadors were all there to assume their respective offices. The students lauded the achievements of the school on all fronts and emphasized the importance of team spirit and the need to motivate fellow cadets. The administration urged them to understand the importance of human resource management to succeed as leaders in today’s world of cut-throat competition.
Ways were suggested in which the students could better themselves by making use of the opportunities provided to them by the school, which on its part left no stone unturned in instilling values such as hard work, discipline, diligence and commitment in its cadets. All candidates were encouraged to take part actively in events, saying that all great leaders in the world have remained great followers too.
The parade was followed by an oath-taking ceremony.
The Principal, in her speech encouraged the students to be committed to important issues and to always remember that leadership comes with integrity.
