When I look back at my journey as a kindergarten librarian, it feels like a beautiful and an evolving story. I started with a simple goal to make the library an inviting place where children could fall in love with books.

Those starting days were full of nervousness, excitement and figuring out how to grab the attention of curios little minds. As time passed, I found joy in small things like sharing stories with silly voices, using puppets to bring characters to life and watching the excitement on the faces of children during our weekly activities.

We painted, sang songs and explored a new world through books. Every in teraction felt like a new adventure. I also gained the ability to navigate the flow of the sessions using gentle reminders and a lot of patience. Gradually, the library turned into more than a room.

Involving parents through story time events and book lending bought a beautiful sense of connection. It’s been an heart filled journey, expanding with every shared smile and every shared story.
