Summers are getting hotter, and rains are becoming heavier—not just random weather changes but signs of climate change. Climate change happens because of human activities that release harmful gases into the air. Burning coal, oil, and natural gas for energy sends these gases into the atmosphere, trapping heat and making the Earth warmer.
Deforestation and raising many animals also add to this problem by increasing these gases. As a result, we experience unusual weather patterns, such as extreme heat, storms, and floods.
But we can all help slow down climate change by making small changes in our daily lives. Turning off lights when not needed saves energy, and choosing to walk or ride a bike instead of driving helps reduce air pollution. Planting trees is vital because they absorb harmful gases. Saving water and recycling paper and plastic also play an important role. These actions may seem small, but when many people do them together, they create a big impact.
Climate change is a serious issue caused by human actions, but it’s
not too late to make a difference. By adopting simple habits and
encouraging others to do the same, we can protect our planet and
ensure a healthier Earth for future generations.
