“A Musical Showcase of Global Goals” by Farzana Bari

The vibrant atmosphere of the Annual Musical Concert 2025 filled the majestic IBA Auditorium as Beaconhouse Federal B. Area Campus proudly showcased the talents and creativity of its students on Saturday, May 31st. This special occasion brought together families and faculty to celebrate the creativity, confidence, and hard work of our young learners. The presence and encouragement of the School Head, Mrs. Rabia Hussainy and School Coordinator, Ms. Somia Asif added warmth and motivation for the children.

The event began with a heartfelt Recitation and Translation of verses from the Holy Quran. This was followed by a soulful dua titled “Maula Tera Noor” beautifully recited by the school choir. The audience then stood in unity for the National Anthem, sung with pride by students, parents, and staff. A warm and inspiring welcome speech was then delivered by the Honourable School Head, Mrs. Rabia Hussainy, who shared her thoughts on the students’ growth and the joy of witnessing their learning journey.

 

 

Before each class took the stage, parents were shown Photo Stories that highlighted the students’ progress throughout the year. These captivating presentations featured classroom activities, events, and collaborative learning moments from Pre-Nursery to Grade II, offering a heartwarming glimpse into the students’ growth and experiences.

The stage performances began with Nursery A presenting an energetic act on the song “Lighter”, promoting themes of healthy living and quality learning (SDGs 3 and 4). Next, Nursery B performed on “Courage to Change” song reflecting Climate Action (Goal 13). Then Nursery C lit up the stage with a performance on “Can’t Stop the Feeling”, encouraging a joyful, active lifestyle and a love for learning.
Following them, Pre-Nursery A charmed the audience with their delightful act on the song “Such a Beautiful Day” emphasizing environmental care through innocent expressions.
From the lower primary section, Class I-A performed on the song“Happy and Healthy” focusing on encouraging positive habits and emotional well-being. Class I-B followed with a powerful mime on saving water representing Clean Water and Sanitation (Goal 6). Class II-A then took the stage with a vibrant medley highlighting the value of physical activity in maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
Wrapping up the show, KG-B performed a skit and dance on “A Sky Full of Stars” promoting Digital Transformation while KG-A delighted everyone with a wonderful performance on “Folk Songs of Provinces” representing regional pride and cultural unity through music.

Each performance was more than just entertainment. It was an expression of what students learned, believed, and stood for. The entire event reflected Beaconhouse’s commitment to nurturing thoughtful, expressive, and confident individuals.
The Annual Musical Concert 2025 was a wonderful celebration of learning, teamwork, and creativity. It reminded everyone present that young voices have the power to inspire meaningful change. Through their songs, dances, and stories, the students proved that even at a young age, they can create a positive impact on the world.
