Mother’s Day is a special occasion that cherishes the love, care and unwavering dedication of all the mothers around the globe. On this day, we show our gratitude for everything our beloved mothers do for us. We had an amazing opportunity to celebrate Mother’s Day at Beaconhouse Federal B. Area Campus on Thursday, 25th May, 2023. Our students were engaged with their mother in many interesting activities like hand span, nail art, special recipes, photo-booth, henna application and musical chair etc. These activities did not only bring joy but also helped them to express the love and strong bond they share with each other.
Henna application activity was indeed a fantastic way to honor mothers while incorporating culture. The beautiful henna designs lift up the mood of our mothers as their children took a keen interest in selecting designs. This activity turned out to be the most favourite activity for all the mothers.
Additionally, our students explored their artistic side by designing and painting the nails of their mothers with vibrant colours and creative patterns. They painted the nails with beautiful designs as a token of love for their mothers. A masterpiece was created with the lovely hand spans of mothers and children together that served the purpose of keeping memories intact. The bond of love between a mother and a child was successfully embraced in a single frame.
“A dash of love, a pinch of joy”, in the food cooked by our mothers. The mothers endured us with their special signature recipes to foster love and nurturing. The program gradually moved towards the game “Musical chair” which ignited the childhood spark in the mothers with laughter and cheers.
The celebration was focused on the essence of motherhood. It generated a sense of appreciation and respect for the incredible role that mothers play in our lives.
