Dignity day is defined as the state or quality of being worthy of honor and respect. It is celebrated on the 3rd Wednesday of every October. The initiative educates & inspires youth to help them better understand their self-worth. The day also taps into the values of kindness, understanding, tolerance, and compassion.
The students and staff of Beaconhouse celebrated Global Dignity Day with many fun and eye opening festivities. A few students were sent to an underprivileged school called “Azher Iqra school” to teach students from grades 1 till 8. They brought along with them many creative projects to make learning for the students as fun as possible. From maths till art, every subject was taught and we ensured every student had a blast!
While catering to the underprivileged children, we did not forget our school’s junior staff. They are the unsung heros who play a crucial role in making our school a welcoming environment. During the school assembly in celebration of Dignity Day, the school extended a heartfelt thank you to its junior staff, recognizing their essential contributions and gave them a humble gift as a token of appropriation.
