Allama Muhammad Iqbal the \u2018Poet of the East\u2019 was born on 9th November, 1877. \"\"<\/p>\n

Allama Iqbal, was a South Asian Muslim writer, philosopher, and politician, whose poetry in Urdu and Persian language is among the greatest of the twentieth century.<\/p>\n

He envisaged for a separate Muslim country and is known as the \u2018Spiritual father of Pakistan\u2019 for motivating the Muslims\u00a0in British India.<\/p>\n

His birth anniversary is celebrated as Iqbal Day every year to pay tribute to his contributions and strong determination towards the awakening of the Muslims of the subcontinent through his Urdu philosophical poetry on teachings of Islam.<\/p>\n
