The ESTEAM Project in Class 2 provided an engaging exploration of physics through the construction of catapults, highlighting the principles of push and pull forces. Grounded in the SAMR model, this project transformed traditional learning into an interactive experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

Initially, students watched videos demonstrating how to build catapults. This multimedia approach captivated their attention and laid a solid foundation for practical application. Following this, they utilized Paint Software to design their catapult models, fostering creativity and digital literacy.<\/div>\n

With their designs in hand, students constructed and decorated their catapults, which not only enhanced their understanding of engineering concepts but also allowed for personal expression. The culmination of their efforts was a learning journey video created using Canva. This presentation included images of their business models, along with videos showcasing their collaborative work, which they proudly shared with their peers at Dhaka School.<\/div>\n

The project reached its pinnacle during the redefinition stage of the SAMR model, where students engaged in a Google Meet session with another school. This cross-institutional collaboration allowed students to present their projects, exchanging ideas and insights, thus broadening their perspectives.<\/div>\n

The impact of this collaboration was profound. Students developed critical skills in communication, teamwork, and technology, while also fostering a sense of community and shared learning.
