Angles and Polygons are fundamental for learning Math at higher levels. They act as the quintessential building blocks on which more complex concepts stand. Students must know their uses and how to determine them.<\/p>\n

There are multiple ways to teach students on how to tackle and understand these concepts for all grade levels. One of the best approaches is to create a resourceful and fun activity for the students to participate in.<\/p>\n

Angles and Polygons activity was done by students of Class 4 at Primary Campus- I, North Nazimabad. The objective was to develop the following in our students:<\/p>\n

Self-directed learning<\/p>\n

Presentation skills<\/p>\n

Critical thinking<\/p>\n

Such as carrying out the following activity which used the Geoboard mixed with the help of rubber bands to make your life much easier. With minimal use of materials, it helped students explore Polygons and other angles in a way that sticks in their heads. Students were split into groups of four and the activity was conducted during which they created Polygons and identified different angles.<\/p>\n

As a result, students were captivated and their interest was actively peaked. Due to this, students learned about the basics of Polygons and how to identify different angles. You could say that this activity made angles and geometry look as easy as pi.<\/p>\n
