These competitions are helpful in the development of innumerable life-long skills in students which are beneficial for their growth. These skills include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inspiring students to research and develop reading skills.<\/li>\n<li>Increasing critical thinking and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Enhancing the ability to structure and organize thoughts.<\/li>\n<li>Improving learners\u2019 ability of exhausting sensible and knowledgeable arguments with evidence to present ideas.<\/li>\n<li>Encouraging teamwork.<\/li>\n<li>Eradicating fear of public speaking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students from classes 4 -7 took part in \u2018Intra-Cluster English Debate Competition.\u2019 They actively researched the topics, discussed the same with their parents and teachers and then wrote in favour and against the topics. After rigorous practice for a month students were selected for the competition to represent our branch(NNPI).<\/p>\n<p>The students skilfully presented their ideas coherently in front of the spectators with great fervor. They spoke with great conviction and confidence. Napoleon Hill says:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>&#8220;Patience, persistence and perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Beaconhouse School System, Primary Campus I, North Nazimabad secured the 1<sup>st<\/sup> and 3<sup>rd<\/sup> prize in \u2018Intra-Cluster English Debate Competition.\u2019 Well done and Congratulations to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ibrahim Yasir of Class 5 for securing the 3rd position<\/li>\n<li>Arham Aamir of Class 6 for securing the 1st position<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students applauded and appreciated the participants and the winners for their hard work and wonderful success in the morning assembly.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Decades of educational research has demonstrated that the benefits of engaging in debate are numerous.
