Measles and Rubella (German measles) Vaccination Drive took place on 26th November 2021 at Beaconhouse School Sytem, Primary I, North Nazimabad. It was part of the nationwide campaign where 90 million children are to be vaccinated against measles and rubella. These diseases are transmittable and can have severe complications in children which can be fatal.
Vaccination is a simple, harmless, and effective technique of protecting people against destructive diseases, before they have an encounter with them.
Vaccination booth was set up in the school compound. The dose was administrated to only those students who had parental consent. Parents were informed about the day and timings of vaccination through a circular. To provide a tranquil environment and experience students got their vaccine shot in presence of their parents.
