A STEM project is a pedagogical endeavour that concentrates on one or more academic disciplines and frequently involves experiential learning and problem-solving.

Students of Class 3, Primary Campus- I, North Nazimabad were engaged in a highly stimulating and instructive STEM project that delved into the functioning of human muscles. They employed a diversity of materials to construct models that illustrated this principle, integrating elements of art, mathematics, and language into the project. In their art class, students laboured to fabricate their models using materials such as clay, cardboard, and popsicle sticks. They utilized these materials to devise representations of muscles and their cooperative operation in enabling the body to move. In addition to crafting their models, the students also composed poems about muscles and their function. This integrated the language arts component into the project, affording students the opportunity to express their comprehension of the topic through creative writing.

Students shared their rationale for choosing various materials they employed, explaining how each one assisted in accurately portraying the function of muscles. They also applied mathematical skills by measuring and computing the dimensions of their models. It was wonderful to see that the project was a triumph and that students attained a deeper understanding of muscles and their functions.
